It's already fixed for next release.

The issue only affects J1.6 using the CB Login module. The patch provided simply parses the J1.6 params into something CB can understand.

The fix will be provided with 1.7 stable, we do not provide support for patch usage; they are for us (CB team) and advanced users who know how to use source patches. I do not recommend tampering with patches unless you're experienced with PHP and have a suitable IDE such as Zend, Eclipse, NetBeans, etc.. to apply them.
