Clicking the FB sign in only refreshes the page.
If I do it enough times eventually it signs in... Other people aren't going to have as much drive to log in and will forget about my site.

FB has been adjusting API and having server problems, seams to be working fine from what I can see. Is your issue still present?

Nope... but it seems to only fail when I log out of my site and then try to log back in. It doesn't even try to think, it just does nothing.

Joomla version? CB version? FBC version? If not using FBC 1.5 you will have problems due to API changes on Facebooks end.
