Hello.

I have install: CB Facebook Connect, and followed the guide: cbfacebook_1.8.pdf
so I can connect to my website with Facebook. Everytime I (the admin on the site and the app), connect to my site, I don't have any problems.

But, if any other person try to connect, they will get this error:
An error occurred. Please try again later.

If I copy the link from the error they get, and go to the error link, I get this information:

An error occurred. Please try again later.
API Error Code: 191
API Error Description: The specified URL is not owned by the application
Error Message: redirect_uri is not owned by the application.

I don't understand the problem, because I don't have any problems,
when I connect, it is any other else who have the problem.

How do I fix this problem, so everyone can login with Facebook?

I have:
Joomla 1.7.3
CB 1.7.1

Problem solved:

1. Go to developers.facebook.com/apps
2. Edit your App
3. Change site url from mysite.com to www.mysite.com
4. Click save

That was my problem. I only had http:// on my site url, but no connect problems with Facebook. But After I change it to http://www, it seems that people can connect with Facebook.

But if I visit my site with: mysite.com - then I can't connect.
If i visit the site with: www.mysite.com - Can I connect with no any problems.

That is something I don't understand, because the link in the App is: www.mysite.com

www.example.com does not equal example.com. www is a subdomain (why everyone adopted this usage is beyond me). In other words they're 2 different domains. Facebook is very strict on domain matching. You can try within your Facebook application setting the domain to example.com while the website URL is www.example.com and believe that should allow with or without www.

Thanks for your answer.

I have tried to change the App options to example.com, but Facebook will not allowed that:

Error
Site URL must begin with http or https.

I think I just leave it at www.example.com/ , and makes people aware of CB Login box that www is required for login with Facebook.

Thanks for your time :)
