Hello,

I've recently installed CB Captcha into an up-to-date CB and Joomla installation.

It has been working fine for the past few days.

Last night I turned on Joomla System Cache and also installed and configured eAccelerator.

Today, the Captcha image is broken and refuses to load at all.

The URL's it is generating for the image:

www.domain.com/components/com_comprofiler/plugin/user/plug_cbcaptcha/captchaindex.php?captchaurlmode=image&captchasid=KxuShlJuwIg2wAfzGAKMxpQvV9oq5LMh

I'd appreciate some help with getting this working again. The image appears broken on the front end and backend and of course not only on the registration page but on Lost Password etc.

Have you tried deactivating Joomla cache again? If that doesn't work, try uninstalling eAccelerator. That should narrow down the problem, and if it's eAccelerator, the developer should be able to assist with the issue.

I have disabled Joomla Cache and the issue is still present so i assume it is related to eaccelerator.

I would appreciate if there is a known fix for issues with eaccelerator that someone could let me know.

Getting support for eaccelerator has proved very difficult in the past and as my site is live and using a plugin I felt would work with a common server cache software I'd appreciate any suggestions.

I'm not familiar with that addon, so maybe someone else has experience with it and can assist. It seems that you'd have more luck searching their forums for similar issues though.

I cannot use the Captcha plugin with the System Cache turned on. It causes session problems and the same image is displayed each time (it gets cached). This is a shame because the System Cache really does speed the site up.
