captcha 2.2.2 sometimes there - and sometimes not

13 years 8 months ago #140261 by martin3432
Hi,

i have read through all of the posts here to understand why my chapcha-chars are sometimes there - and sometimes not. Even tried just to use numbers, checked for freetype, modified the Security Mode Parameters.
Here is nothing which helped me.

I can not use captcha on my website but would apreciate to receive your help or things i would have to check (kinda checklist).

Thanks a lot
Martin

Please try setting Captcha images and sound mode: to Joomla's index.php and confirm if issue still present. You can find this parameter by editing the CB Captcha plugin within Plugin Management.

Hi,

still the same. Sometimes the Captcha is there, sometimes not. Reloading the page shows it - and reloading again it disappears and just shows the empty picture, where i can just see the background.

Best regards,
Martin

We're not sure of the cause of this. We've another report of the same issue and spent countless hours investigating their server and installation. If possible please try upgrading to PHP 5.3 (don't upgrade if using CBSubs on that installation) and confirm if issue resolved.
