Spambots still getting through?

Spambots still getting through? was created by nudd
Joomla 1.5.23
CB 1.7
CB CAPTCHA 2.4

Installed a month or two ago, and once configured it seemed to work. Indeed when testing, the CAPTCHA comes up properly and denies my signup, but there appear to be occasional surges of garbage signups through this form - are these likely to be legitimate human signups, or are there any other settings I need to tweak to lock the site down even more.

Example:

A new user has registered at www.ppcii.ca.
This email contains their details

Name - sherilynyoke
E-mail - tvqjqafc4695@hotmail.com
Username - sherilynyoke

Any suggestions?

Are you sure you are using the captcha from our website?

You do not appear to be a purchaser.

This is the purchasing account that should be associated with the CB CAPTCHA plugin we purchased Sept 6.

Thanks for the info.

I assume you have email confirmation also on?

Unfortunately, there are many human spammers that are commissioned to become registered members and start spamming the forums.

We get these also here on our website.
