Files not uploading

Files not uploading was created by mslake
I have Ajax file field installed on Joomla 1.5 and tried using Chrome and Firefox to upload a small text file. The file does not upload. There is no error message, it just goes back to the default "click to edit" field.

This directory does not exist on my host:
[domain]/images/comprofiler/plug_cbfilefield/[recordID]/[filename].txt

I have attached a screen shot showing the pre and post attempt to upload. Did I miss a folder permissions change or plugin set up step?

Nevermind. I figured out the problem, sort of. I put the file field into another tab and it worked fine.

Glad you got it working - tab placement should not have anything to do with it not working though...

The tab that appears in the edit page will upload files. When I have the file upload viewable on the profile page, the files will not upload there. I am not sure what the bug is. It goes through the motions of uploading, but does not succeed.

This is happening on the old and new tab or just the old tab? Was the old tab a tab created within Tab Management or created via a plugin? As Nick suggested tab shouldn't matter regarding the Ajax operation. Could you please specify CB and plugin versions.
