I am using 2.3 (latest) and I am still getting the %livesite% as well as "r" linebreaks. perplexing indeed.

Please use the correct PMS plugin. %livesite% is only available when the uddeIM PMS plugin is used. Maybe this also fixes your second problem.

Plase ensure that the text containing the line breaks is quoted with "" (e.g. in the language file) and not '' otherwise PHP does not treat \r as a line break.

Thanks for getting back to me - can you confirm which is the "correct" PMS plugin - I'm getting confused - I downloaded the zip archive from your website named "uddeIM_2.3_unzip1st.zip" and then extracted the plugin "cb_plug_pms_uddeim.zip" - is there another one I should be using?

The Private Messaging System (pms.mypmspro) is still active, so PMS uddeIM is not used.
