Hi,
I am using CB 1.7.1 on Joomla 2.5. Is it possible to make a file (e.g. pdf file) in the portrait position a clickable thumbnail on the profile page? I could not find the directions for this in the documentation. Can that be achieved with the CB Profile Gallery plugin?

You can use CB Profile gallery to upload a pdf file also is you want.
It will appear as a clickable pdf icon in your CB Gallery tab.
You can also use the CB File field plugin (Incubator addon) to add a file field to your profiles also.
