This Topic has addressed my issue, but it seems like something that ought to be addressed as part of the installation. During the installation, I saw the error about failing to create the admin menu so there ought to be a way to handle this error automatically.

As the last post was years ago I need to ask this again. By all appearances this must an ongoing issue - does it ever look like being fixed?? I remember years ago I had the same problem!

I have this issue on Joomla 3.3.6 and CB 2.0.4 installed from the backend. Can anyone tell me how to fix it please??
