[SOLVED] Customizing "Registration Complete!" page ...

13 years 2 days ago - 12 years 11 months ago #162496 by dmcole
Hi. I've searched both this forum and Google and haven't found a solution to this probably simple problem.

I'd like to customize both the typograhy and text for the page that is presented to a user upon completion of the registration; its headline is "Registration Complete!"

I suspect that if I search in the /language files I'll find the text; where do I change the <div> codes?

Thanks.

The registration complete page can be customized through the language plugins. However as this suggests it's only to change the language strings. The registration complete page is not an actual page and is hardcoded in comprofiler.php in the saveRegistration function as the result of an echo.

Krileon:

Hardcoded is always bad ... can I respectfully request that in the future it be somehow made available through template files?

This is the first page a new registrant to a CB site sees and the appearance of that page helps set the tone of the interaction with -- as is the case for CBSubs buyers -- a paying customer.

Thanks.

We've plans to redo a lot of the display of CB with release of CB 2.0. This is not something that would be implemented in a 1.x release.

OK, have now spent 30 minutes going through all the /language files and can't find this entry ... can somebody give me a pointer?

Thanks.

I remain unable to find the language file where the "Registration Complete!" verbiage is stored ... can anyone point me to the correct file?

Thanks.
