Russian language and cyrillic alphabet

Russian language and cyrillic alphabet was created by Se7eN
Is there a way to force my (russian) users to enter their names and addresses using the roman alphabet, rather than the Cyrillic alphabet?
This is on registration and on updating their profile obviously.

Hi Kyle.
In "username" field -> "Field entry validation" -> "Authorized input:" -> "Custom PERL regular expression" I tried to use the [a-zA-Z], but to no avail: during registration a user is still able to enter Russian letters as his username. Why didn't my regex "[a-zA-Z]" force English letters?

P S Neither the default expressions worked.
