I suggest you to change the colors, remove the location of the top module and cut the words in homepage (homepage of dating/community sites should be short).

What I did to make my sites look nice and fresh is using custom made (by artist) or commercial template.

I have dating site (www.datecafe.co.il - sorry, it's in Hebrew) which base on CB, and many modules, as you have. I gave my site new look by using Commercial template from YOOTHEME.

I am not surprised that I did not care for your example either. We have very different tastes. The one thing I did like was the flash slide show, however these seem to be very over done.

I appreciate your trying to help, but I do not see any benefit from emulating your site.

Plus my site does has a custom and professional design, not some template from 'yootheme'
