Thanks for you fast replies.....

I actually tried jsjobs but its too clunky to change...

I know sobi2 very well but find sobipro to difficult.

i actually love K2...

I thought I could make the directory with community builder... Have a employer profile and jobs adds category and a profile for job seekers

Theres 2 levels of access for job seekers (free and paid)
and 2 levels for employer (free and paid)

I am also assuming I can create a detailed search

and also create 2 different registration forms (one for job seeker and one for employer)

Then different permissions are granted (for example the job seeker who pays gets access to the search for jobs page)

You can create two levels of access just fine with CB and CBSubs.

But the issue is that employers might have the need to post more than one job openning and for this you need a directory extension.

CB User lists can be used to list employers or job seeker profiles.

Once again, I do not want to steer you wrong as I strongly believe that your use case needs a real directory extension (CB was never designed for this).

Once you have your directory extension in place, you can use CB and CBSubs for employer, seeker profiles and paid subscriptions for posting on directory extension.

mosetree looks good.

Thanks again for your help....

So cbsubs can effectively give access to parts of the directory as well to the profiles of the people subscribing.

As well as enabling me to create different registration forms for different types of people.

Yes, CBSubs URL parts integration can protect specific extension related areas and require a subscription for access.

Yes, CBSubs can present different registration forms for different membership plans. Actually its the same form with different fields depending on selected subscription.
