OK, I got the same message.
What I did to correct it was to open the file in Notepad++, change the encoding to "encode in utf-8 without bom" and save it. Then the import would work.

It's importing, but then I'm missing names. lastnames etc containing eg

ë, or ä, or ö

In other words, it doesnot save Mariëtte, but only Mari appears!

It has te be in standard UTF to achieve this to my humble opinion

I changed file to utf-8 without bom and it imported fine. The full names with accents were imported.
Comprofiler table collation is latin1_swedish_ci

If I import in ANSI, it "looks" fine, but when you look in usermanagement it's NOT okay

Ans if in UTF-8 it keeps saying

CB Version =1.9
CBJ2_HEADER_VARIABLES zijn
Array ( [0] => username [1] => firstname [2] => cb_phone )

username is not valid

Gestopt vanwege niet gedefinieerde kopregels

Where can I check this?

Comprofiler table collation is latin1_swedish_ci

Hi Wolverton,

You were right!

What I did to correct it was to open the file in Notepad++, change the encoding to "encode in utf-8 without bom" and save it. Then the import would work.

I opened the file, saved as utt-8 ONLY, but this dis not work.
Encoding in utf-8 without bom works fine!

Stille puzzled why it does not work anymore with the std Notepad
