Would be nice if a notification could be sent to attendees just before the event happens. ie. configure the event to send a notification X hours before the actual event, so attendees don't forget about it.

Barring that (since I'm not sure how a scheduled event can be triggered easily in Joomla), a "Message To All Attendees" link would be very useful. That way the event organizer can send messages to attendees (event reminders, etc.) without spamming the whole group.

CB has no API to send timed or delayed emails or anything of the sort. This would be best done with a CRON job. However, the ability to notify those attending is a great request and have added a feature ticket for it.
