Unable to upload file type .docx ? was created by cliffvt
Hi

Probably me being stupid, but users cannot upload a Microsoft Word 2007 extension .docx file to the files tab in groups. I can't seem to find where to specify valid file extensions - where are these set, please? I've looked in GJ configuration but can't find it there either. Can't find it in the manual either.

In the CB Groupjive File Plugin - it says "Provides groups with a File Gallery to easily and quickly share files between one another. Configured from within GroupJive Configuration when published" but in GroupJive Configuration I cannot find file settings either... Any help appreciated.

Thanks

Cliff

Please navigate to CB GroupJive within Plugin Management followed by Configuration. Once there click the Integrations tab and scroll the File Integration. There you'll find a text input where you can supply a comma separated list of allowed extensions.

Kyle,
Great answer and easy to find. I was wondering if you can give me a hint to what I might be missing to actually see a "file upload" field in the "file" tab in GroupJive. For the life of me I cannot figure out how to add the file upload filed or the image upload field in a person's profile.

Any help in the right direction will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
CTE2087

Don't understand the question. It doesn't add anything to profile. It's for groups. Navigate to a group, click the Files tab, and click Upload File button for the upload form to open.
