I do it with GJ2.4 and kunena 1.7.0, when you select invite in the edit group panel, the group is just visible by the group member. Sometimes the group forum stay visible. Just use the stat recount fonction of kunena ti fix it. ( I don't know why but it s working for me )

Darn, just tried an update to Kunena 1.7.1 and GJ 2.4. Unfortunately your trick doesn't work for me. My registered test user who is only a member of one "open" group can see ALL the invite only groups forums! But hey, I'm not dumb, I backed up first!

I'll just go back to Kunena 1.6.3 and Groupjive 2.3 until things get ironed out. Ah well...
