Profile link does not point to the right place

Hi. I am not sure if this is how it's supposed to be or not but some of our members are raising issues with this. When I go to any of my Groupjive groups and then go to Users tab, I get a list of users. When I mouse over **my own** name the underlying link is /all-groups/my-group which simply points to where I am. When I mouse over **any other** person's name, the link is /all-groups/my-group/userprofile/other-person-name which takes you to that person's profile.

Did anyone else experience this? Any reason why my own profile is not "clickable"? Is there a setting somewhere that I need to enable. Thanks for your help.

It's a weird menu alias issue with Joomla SEF. It shouldn't cause any problems with their destinations though. They should still send you to profiles. Alternative is to use External links for GJ instead of Internal.

That's the issue. The link to *your own* profile doesn't send you there. How would I use external links, as you're suggesting?

Copy the link to GJ found within GJ backend then create an external link to that URL. Then simply remove your internal links generated by GJ. This should avoid using its Itemid during SEF. I could not confirm your issue however; it's possible you're simply missing a public and published Joomla menu link to user profile (this link is mandatory).
