Believe that changes the URL base. Please take the original htaccess.txt from a clean Joomla package and rename it to .htaccess (rename your old .htaccess so it's not lost) and test with clean unaltered .htaccess. I can't see any issues with default Joomla SEF and default .htaccess.dwaine wrote: There are actually both htaccess.txt and .htaccess files in the root folder of the Joomla site. The only difference is one line that is "RewriteBase /orot/" in the .htaccsss file and that line is commented out in the htaccess.txt file
