After three months it is finally done: uddeIM 2.0rc is available!

You can download the installation packages from my dev page. Please give feedback if all packages are ok or if you had some problems installing uddeIM 2.0rc.

Please check the README since it contains important information about how to upgrade to uddeIM 2.0rc.

1.) reCaptcha service added (see recaptcha.net/ for more information).
2.) Installer checks if folder "uddeimfiles" already exists before it tries
to create one.
3.) The sender's name in notification emails will also be base64 encrypted
when neccessary.
4.) uddeIM API is now stable and part of the package, so other components
can use it to send PMs with email notifications.
5.) New templates: default_ex and default_ex_pink.

14.) cb_plug_pms_uddeim_inbox updated.
15.) A few minor XHTML fixes.
16.) Started making uddeIM Joomla 1.6 compatible. Even when there are still a
few minor issues to make it run perfectly it should work.

I have uploaded a fresh install for my site. First I would like to say that the Ajax does not work when you type in a name and click on it. It populates with undefined. Next, I seem to have two message boxes in users profiles.

There might be other AJAX components which interfere with uddeIM.

I use Rokajax search and disabled it and the propagation still does not work. Still comes up as undefined when you click on a populated name.

The other problem I have is when I have the "System Private Messaging System" and "PMS UddeIM" enabled at the same time in CB, I get two quick message blocks to write messages in users profiles.

So for now, I have the Private Messaging System disabled to just get one quick message block in a user profile and everything works fine.

Please check the README and/or FAQ. Do only use the PMS plugin from CB _or_ uddeIM, not both. It is mentioned several times in the docs.

I have installed the new release 2.0rc and Joomla lists most of its components as not compatible with 1.5 and that it needs to be run in legacy mode.

I had a problem with adding fields in CB and began looking to see what would cause the problem. The only thing I can credit it to is the new release. When I put joomla in legacy the conflict with uddeIm 2.0rc and CB went away.

Please help!
