I have the latest uddeIM installed but am having a problem with it sending notification emails.

I can send one message to a user and they successfully receive the notification however subsequent emails do not generate a notification. It only seems to send one email per user then stops regardless of how many messages they receive.

If i change over the mosMAIL I receive the error (when clicking Send):

Fatal error: Using $this when not in object context in /public_html/libraries/joomla/mail/mail.php on line 443

I am running Joomla 3.1 - On further tests I am finding that phpmail is very sporadic in when it sends emails. If I send 10 messages I'm lucky if I get 6 notification emails.

It is a problem in the Joomla Framework (mail.php is part of Joomla), so I doubt that it is a bug in uddeIM.

When you get only a few messages, maybe your server is on a blacklist and the MTA filters some messages.

I have checked with my host and the emails do not seem to be generated from the site.

I would prefer to use mosMail - I can't see any reference that this is a bug with Joomla - are there any workarounds until a fix becomes available?

From my side there is nothing to fix, sorry. Sending messages using mosMail or phpMail works fine when the server and Joomla are correctly installed.
