I have just installed this component and really like it so far, but cannot figure out how to get it to show up in a box, like this forum has it..( look left).. The picture, with the little icon and a "You have X new private messages"?

thanks in advance!

That is done in the Community Builder module. You will see the options in there.

The CB Login Module has some settings that allows PM notifications to be displayed. There is also a separate uddeIM notifier module that can be used.

Found it in the module (near the bottom).

you can also add a menu link that will tale you directly to you inbos.
  1. just creat a new menu under "menu management"
  2. chose "Link - Url"
  3. enter 'index.php?option=com_uddeim&task=inbox' for the link (with out the ' )

Thanks for the input everyone :cheer:
