And the Popup Window for new Messages is a very cool.

But I have still one question:
Is there an opportunity to get a new message notification WITHOUT reloading the whole page?

Anybody can feel free to write a module for that.

mod_uddeim can be used as template. When someone creates an AJAX addon he should get in contact with me so I add the corresponding server response to the uddeim main program.

Nevertheless I do really not understand why a PM system needs an AJAX mail notification module. Are you using your homepage as a screensaver? Usually a webpage will change very often, so the change intervall is fine for that. And it will not stress your database like hundreds or thausands of AJAX request.

In some community-based website, you dont really refresh the page often.
Maybe you are just messaging with someone and you dont want to use the chatroom for that.
Thats why an instant notification would be useful.

So Ill just wait and hope someone writes it

I already added the server part in uddeIM 1.2 (trunk):

domain.de/index.php?option=com_uddeim&task=ajaxGetNewMessages
returns the number of new messages, e.g. "12".
