Connections Links Not Viewable if Not Logged In

Don't remember seeing this in any of the beta builds (at least up until 6).

Try this:

In the backend have the User Profile set to allow access to Everybody, and also have Connections enabled and public.

Then click on a user's profile. You'll be able to view it. Then go to their Connections tab, and try clicking on the profile of one of their connections.

You'll get a message saying you need to be logged in to view.

This shouldn't be the case, as you should be able to see the connection's profile page.

It works just fine on my testsite.
Also the testteam has not reported this at any stage of the testing. I believe you are also on the testteam - maybe you should post there?

Figured this out: I had a menu item set to the URL to view/edit your profile, and had that menu item set to require Registered Users only. It was then passing that itemid to Connections links when you would click on them. Since that itemid from the menu required registered users, it wouldn't allow you to view the connections' profiles unless you were logged in.

To correct, add a & character after the URL in your menu item.
