Look in your current joomla template index.php and find that --> <?php mosMainbody(); ?>
if its enclosed in a table eg. <table><tr><td><?php mosMainbody(); ?></td></tr></table>
set the table width to a 100%.< table width="100%">
well it worked for mee dont know if it will work for you..
