[FIX] PHP5.2.4+Zend fatal error editing profile

16 years 2 months ago #57470 by hamsel
I had the same problem when producing / adapting a DK language file for version 1.1.

All the trailing colons (":") must be removed from your language file's Field Labels - It's not only for Brugernavn, but for other fields as well, since another module will put a(nother) trailing colon after the name before displaying it.

A simple way way of verifying the problem is to insert a space / blank after the colon - you will then see the field label as [code:1]"Brugernavn: :".[/code:1]

After removal of the trailing ":", the language file works like a charm.

Hi Beat,
It is not a PHP 5.2.4 issue. I had the problem with PHP 5.2.4 and after downgraded to a lower PHP it disappeared. Now, I am using PHP 5.2.6 and the problem is BACK.
Any answers?

Remove all the ':' from language file.

CB 1.2 RC 2 has that bug worked around.
