Just go to Joomla Admin > Components > Joomla-SMF Forum > Configuration > Redirect SMF profile link to CB/CBE YES

After much coffee and some four-letter words, I finally have the latest version of my CB-SMF plugin prototye working. In this version, users can sync their CB avatar with the forum.

Can someone please give me a short list of desired features? I'm working in a lab environment, and may not be aware of what all can/could be interfaced. Thanks!

Well, here's my 2 cents.

What I would be looking from a CB SMF plugin is:

1. Ability to view CB profiles by following the link in the forum.

2. Forum posts tab in CB.

3. Ability to login to Joomla and SMF with one login module.

4. Ability to use CB avatar in forum.

5. Single PM support for CB and SMF.


Now I am very new with Joomla, CB and SMF, so don't expect me to know whether the above requests are valid for a plugin or not, these are just the features that I would like to have in a Joomla, CB and SMF combination.

I would add also:

- Ability to see total posts in CB Profile

- Ability to see total karma in CB Profile

- Some sort of integration between both PM would be cool, but i personally like SMF PM more as of now. Whichever way, the most interesting part for me would be to show "You have x new private messages" somewhere right away(like in the user menu) when user logs into Joomla.

Actually, early this morning, I completed the Forum Profile tab which pulls the entire SMF profile into a CB tab. I also have a separate tab that covers nothing but posting info; it lists the Last Ten Posts for each member, along with the threads they're subscribed to. Because of the sheer amount of info SMF can provide, I thought it best to have separate tabs for Latest Posts and Forum Profile.

Regarding form karma... I can easily add Karma to the member's Forum Profile tab. I'll drop it in in just a bit. Just FYI, it won't be integrated with CB's karma plugin. Just wanted to make the distinction clear.

See? I said yours was the easier one. *lol*
