Go to Help/System Info to see which version is actually running. It may not be set up correctly.

ok I sent the host the version that should work as your post stated, but can you tell me if i have a back up for when it was working can i just copy to com.profiler file over to fix it?

Please look at my previous post and go to your site's administrator area's Help/System Info. Then post here which version it says in that window.

If your site's PHP is set up incorrectly, you won't be able to run CB 1.2.1 correctly, so using a backup won't help.

i found the problem myself go into your joomla administrator, site- global configuration - SEO Settings and change the Search Engine Friendly URLs from yes to no

That is not the problem... only a symptom of the problem. You should be able to use SEO unless you have another extension not compatible. Again, this is probably just an issue with the implementation. Your host should be able to tell you the proper way to implement SEO and PHP 5.2.x.
