well i was tryin to integrate joomla and phpBB through phpBBconector
plugin.It was woriking well but after i have installed mail2forum in phpBB, it shows following errors:

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/bgclubsb/public_html/forum/m2f/m2f_common.php on line 210

i have followed all the steps in setting up of the connector. i
have syncronized the users and im using cb login and published phpBB in a wrapper.Please somebody know solution.

Mail2Forum is known to not work with the phpBB Connector... no fix has been identified yet

well is there any chance for fixing this issue in near future....it will be a wonderful combinition to include mail2forum with joomla-cb.

Unfortuneately probably not... time is kind of thin again on my side and last time I looked at it I was not able to figure out what the issue was... The last time I was seeing those errors it was a global variable that was causing the issue...

I would however welcome anyone more experieneced in PHP who would be interested in looking at it... If we can figure out what is needed I would be glad to put it in the code.

I got that combination working .

It's a problem with the pear library which under certain circumstances can't get global variables defined even in the same php file. Well I don't understand completely if that is a php/pear-bug or something else but it can be fixed quite easily. By the way this code only deals with the m2f-logging feature.

Attached is a working m2f_common.php. I tested it quite thoroughly and couldn't find any problem at all up to now !

Just do a diff with the original file and see the few differences.

Hopefully this is helping the community ...
