BTW, forgot to mention

Check this bug report also:

It will not work with groups created before appling fix.

I'm almost sure it will not fix your problems, as I'm almost sure CB API is introduced in K1.5.6 , it will also in Groupgive beta 5, but worth triing

Your feedback on the JED helps us improve Kunena. ;)

The forums are working properly for me in 1.5.5. The only problem I had was an old tab that was not uninstalled before the new was installed, creating a second tab. The result was not being able to see the Forum link in the group.

Make sure to create a category in GroupJive's backend before attempting to make a group in the front or backend as Johnny said.

Some other things to check...
Is the CB forum plugin set to Kunena?
Is the GJ component settings set to the right Category ID of the main parent category of the forum you want to use for the Group Forums?
Have you ran CB Tools and Saved the CB Configuration (even if unchanged) since your GJ installation?
Have you deleted all old GJ plugins? Is your GJ plugin enabled?
Have you created the mandatory public GJ menu link?

Thanks for your reply, I will double check your tips again. (The CB kunena plugin and tab is working well) and I have only the fresh GJ b4 com and plug installed.

Do somebody have a solution? i need a good solution how to publish a group that only those registered userscan see.

I came up with a workaround to provide privacy - Private forums with GroupJive and Kunena
