i can't install CB AutoWelcome plugin
joomla reports: ERROR: Could not find a Joomla! XML setup file in the package.
what is the problem?

I know this thread is from so long ago..but I have the answer if anyone else is interested.

I don't like finding my question on a forum with no answer..so I'm updating here..

If you get the error that the xml file can not be found do this:

Do not go to extensions > uninstall/install

go to components > community builder > plugin management and install from there.
