remove the first line xml prolog:


<?xml version="1.0" encoding="iso-8859-1"?>

from your template. It puts IE in "quircksmode"

Templates shouldn't have this, and i could make it removed from joomla 1.5 default template, but not from joomla 1.0 default template unfortunately.

As i suspected, due to site template problem:

Sometimes templates can interfer....
