Hi,

Im experiencing a problem trying to install for the 1st time the com_comprofiler.zip at new site Joomla 1.5.

After some seconds uploading the file I get a blank screen with the address bar at(ww.mysite/administrator/index.php)

I have no idea why it's happening.I tried to install other components and modules and they went right.

What could be going wrong?

I am having same issue with Joomla 1.0

i've installed on other sites no problem, using same install files.

I've searched the forums, read the FAQ's, I do not have an error message, just a blank page

OK we found the problem(s)......

Firstly its a huge install file, way larger than it should be for normal PHP uploads. It should really be split.

You need to have at least 32M as your setting in php.ini

Also depending on the server (ours is a virtual server) you may need to increase the timeout. We got ours to work at 300 seconds.

My install-attempt also returns a blank page! Any help on this issue is greatly appreciated.

edit: Oops, this is a 1.2RC3-install.. but still, the problem is as real as my mortage..
