I give up!

I first used CB version 1.2 it is I believe. The newest one and it worked great. Then I wanted to implement a forum and got Fireboard and the plugin that integrated the two only works with CB 1.1 so I went back a version to 1.1 and that's where the trouble started.

I kept getting this error message:
Fatal error: Class '' not found in /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/SFFC/administrator/components/com_comprofiler/plugin.foundation.php on line 16

What does this mean?
Spend hours looking it up but nothing.
I narrowed it down to CB 1.1 after doing several fresh installs with no other components.

Using Joomla 1.5
CB 1.1

- Download and unzip to a folder.
- Install "com_comprofiler"
- Install "mod_cb_login"
- Activate cb_login and deactivate standard Joomla login
- Set user registration to NO in Joomla global settings
- Go to CB tools and click "sync users"

- cb_login is set to public
- cb Core is set to public

Now whenever I try to use the registration form I get that fatal error message.
