confirmation link not working

Hi all,

I am using CB 1.1 with Joomla 1.0.12. The problem I am having is that the link that a new user gets in the "Your Registration is Pending Approval" email doesn't work. When you click on it, it just hangs. I really want to require email confirmation to prevent spamming.

might be helpful if you could post the link that is sent to make sure it isn't just the link is formatted incorrectly.

I went ahead and registered a testuser which you can delete.

I was able to reproduce your issue, but don't really understand why its doing it to you. Your server seems to never respond, IE just sits there and tries to connect while FF says that there is a problem with the page and it might be related to cookies not being enabled(mine are).

Maybe with someone with more expertise can help on this.

I appreciate your trying. Hopefully someone can figure it out. I've had bad luck with spammers on the site, so I really don't want to have completely open registration.

I have a feeling it might be a setting outside of CB that might be causing this, have you tried search Joomla's site for a similar issue?
