I have upgraded CB from 1.0.2 up to 1.1.
Everything looked quite OK.
I have tested a new registration and note that nor the administrator nor the end user receives the email confirmation.
The new account is registered succesfully within the database.
But no email is sent.
To summarize:
I have created a fake user on my website with a hotmail address. I noticed that I did not receive the (expected) confirm registration mail on the hotmail account.
The configuration settings were good. I checked.
I have changed the email address setting of this fake user, and it worked.
It seems that I cannot receive mails on the hotmail account.
The spam directory was also empty.
It is not the 1st time it occurs.
My registration workflow was working fine with 1.0.2
Upgraded to CB 1.1.
Now after registration, the admin does not get an email informing of a new registration.
The user gets the pending approval as well as activation message.
I checked CB configuration
Tried setting the Registration Email Address email to different accounts gmail, yahoo, my webhost email etc... but it doesn't work.
It was working fine with CB 1.0.2
I use APC 1.0.3 for user profile types.
