Anyone here could help me with the following problem:
* I have an web site under joomla 1.5 using the CB 1.1 registration system. However, when I try to register some user with an alphanumeric password like 76test8 the system does't accept asking for another password using 0-9, a-z or A-Z.
So, how can i solve this problem or disable this verifing password?
hi i have some same sort of problem .
whatever pass i enter non seem to be accepted.
i tried making an account in admin part but theer its the same it doesnt accept any paswords.
now i did try to make a new user in the standard joomla admin users thing .
and that seemed to be not a problem although i could not login in cb_login.
so its wierd problem and any help would be verry welcome,.
I m facing the same problem. I think the coding is done as to accept only the alphabets and not the nemerics. Is there any way to change the coding so that the user can enter either alphabets or numerics or aphanumeric password. Please reply as early as possible. I really need to do this on my site.
Yeah I have a similiar problem - with users unable to use numbers 0-9 in there passwords when registering... will let you guys know if I figure anything out.
On one hand I am glad to see others have had the same issue as this was driving me nuts! On the other it's sad that there is no patch or at a minumum a comment from the Developers on what is causing this problem or how to fix it.
If members can't register easily then everything else is a waste of disk space. Perhaps this is a ploy to make people pay $$$ to get the newest Beta version.
