r2 is the final version

Hi,

I was wondering when installing the german plugin because when want to have a look on the user list in the frontend I only see english texts. I've activated german (formal) in the global configuration. As described in installation notes community builder automatically detect which language is active and uses the right one. I'm using Joomala 1.014 RC1 and CB 1.1. Maybe its only a kind of wrong configuration. Could you please give me some hints why its not working?

Maybe you have the wrong translation file installed?

german = germanf (german formal)
germani (german informal)

Hi,

thank you for your help. I found the error: the problem was caused by the wrong naming of the files. I renamed german.xml to germanf.xml. I did the same accordingly to the other files and adapted the XML-File. After setting again the main language in global configuration it works fine.

thank you for your german language file. I just installed it, but I still can not see anything german nowhere. Neither in the backend (not this bad) nor in the frontend (this is bad...).

The language of my site is set to german. I don't have the choice to swith it to germanf.
Is there a hint for me how to switch my installed language?

I am the holder of the german informal language file.

Rename germanf to german and it should work.
