encode user id was created by twinkiestar
is there way to make CB (or Joomla core) to use and display a long encoded user id instead of a sequential user id... I don't want a robot can predict and scan my user profiles page like http://joomla/userprofile/user,123/ ,instead I like like the user id looks like asdfa123jxc234SFG

maybe under the cover the user id is still sequential, but I'd like to at least the encoded unique id is shown on the surface..

any thought on this?

You would need to write a custom SEF component, or do some serious hacking to CB to get this functionality.

I can understand your concern, but as soon as you got a user list, a bot could traverse it as well.
