Break the registration process in 4 parts..

Hi all,

I want to divide the registration process into four steps, i.e., the user will have to complete four forms before completing the registration process. Can anyone please help me in doing the same?

this is something that is desperately needed

all social networks have that functionality except for CB. So it is possible.

Perhaps the CB developers can provide what would be needed to point us in the right direction

Anyone with a little php/mysql skill could create a custom signup process for you but this isn't build into CB.

CB/Joomla golf site: www.thegolfspace.com
Geek/joomla site: www.tkserver.com

Check out my Joomla/CB projects:

* LIKE thumbs up system for "liking" content items
* Karma - CB user rating system
* Golf Score Tracker
* Jitter - status update system. "What's on your mind?"
* CB Author Plug - Shows CB author link and avatar in content items. J1.5 compatible and very customizable!

Found on my web site or in the Joomlapolis Directory !

It is possible to code a Joomla component that will collect the registration data on several pages and then create a new user using this data.

This is not particularly hard, but still would be hundreds or thousands lines of code, depending on what features you want. So there is no easy answer to the questions "what would the code look like".

Another alternative would be to use facileforms component to implement the registration workflow.
