How can I hide password fields?

How can I hide password fields? was created by rickymartin
I need to hide password fields in users profile, so they will not be able to change their password. I did a lot of research in the forum and found this
www.joomlapolis.com/component/option,com_joomlaboard/Itemid,/func,view/catid,45/id,51892/#51892
but didn't work. Can anyone help?

CB 1.2 allows you to set fields to "read only".
