Hi

I have installed the Captcha plug-in in CB's back-office and published it but the Security code image does not load.

Any idea/remedy?

I'd love to know the non-cryptic answer to this problem - the main Captcha thread is enormous and full of red herrings. There seems to be a specific issue relating to images and upgrading, and I have the same problem.

Before the upgrade, Captcha worked fine, and after the upgrade, no images show up. I uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin, with no change.

Please could someone add the link here to relevant solution?

do you have more than one captcha tab installed?

if yes, then most likely you did not follow the CB 1.1 upgrade instructions or something went wrong.

you can also check your language files and/or template file for extra chars.

finally, captcha v2 can be downloaded (for doc subscribers only) - this one is not affected by garbage chars.


if you post cryptic questions you will get cryptic answers or no answers at all.

No, there is only one Captcha tab.
I've tried it with two different templates, with the same results.
All pre-requisites were met, as this worked prior to the upgrade.
Quite a few people have had the same problem, presumably this is a known issue, and there is a known solution?
