I am building a new website and have installed CB.

I would like to use the CB Contact Form with Captcha, I downloaded the form and tried to install when I was prompted to put the system in legacy mode if I would want to use this feature.

Is this correct or do I miss an updated cb contact form file somewhere?

If the form can only be run in legacy - what other solution for a contact form with captcha or other security would be advisable?

The CB Contact plugin has not yet been updated for Joomla 1.5, so yes, it must be run in legacy mode. Legacy mode only kicks in when an extension needs it, so it won't affect the rest of your site if you wish to use this plugin and legacy mode.

The previous post was over a year ago, is this still the case with CB Contacts?

If so will it ever?


Not really expecting a response as out of any community I have seen 'COMMUNITY' builder has the worst responses for requests for support that I have ever seen.
