Hi guys,

I'm from Puerto Rico and we are working with www.vidadeporte.com , a sports community and we installed CB 1.2. We were going to start the translations but since you guys published a file here, I just going to verify them, and make changes if they are needed.

We want to just translate the front-end, since the administrators prefer to have the backend in english.

Thanks, if you need translations in anything else, let me know. My email is juan.olmeda@gmail.com.

Peace

I figured something out.

There is some punctuation in the Spanish language for the vocals and some other letters, like á, é, í, ó, ú, ñ, ¡, ¿, etc. The first file that I downloaded from Korpio had the letters written the correct way, but they weren't displayed correctly on my site.

I changed those characters to it's value (á). Something like this á (for á). But in the Title bar of the page and on the pop ups, they are not diplayed correctly.

What I have to do to fix this?

I included a print screen of the error, it appears when you ask for a conection.

Well, it depends on your server config

example... in my server, to use the ñ

I have to write it like it should apear, in other servers you need to write it like this Ã+

Im not sure how to change that config

we found out, what we have to upload the file manually in ASCII format.

That will solve the problem.

Hi,

continuing the translation published by Korpio, now here is the completed file (backend translated too). It is in formal spanish and UTF-8 encoded.

Enjoy it. B)
