I have looked all over the place for documentation on developing a plugin for 1.2.

I downloaded Beats plugin API for 1.0 RC2. Is that the latest and greatest for plugin development?

I know there is also a 'secret' site for developers. Is there any additional documentation there?

I'm dev'ing a custom component for J! 1.5 and want to make sure I have the latest. I know I could dig through the 1.2 framework and figure it out, but if there is docs already out, or a good starting point, it would be very appreciated.

The docs are continuously being updated as things are fixed or added to CB 1.2, but those docs are the most current published at the moment.

Thanks for the response. I started digging into the 1.0 RC2 Plugin development document and started sifting through some code too.

It does look like it is pretty up to date.

Looking through the simpleboard and fireboard plugins code while reading the document helped answer a lot of questions.

I think I'm off to a great start. This project seems very well supported and documented by Beat and Nick.

I am too keen to do some customization in user profile page. Is there any framework in place with CB 1.2 RC2 to implement control on profile tabs?

I want to control option on each field whether it is viewable by registered users, friends, Groupmembers etc.
