Hi,

i used to install the german language pack with

joomla 1.5.8 and cb 1.1!

In the download area i found two german language packs, formal and informal.

The first, the formal dosen't work at all for me.. it hapens nothing!

The second, the informal works, but shows not the specific german characters (called: Umlaute, e.g.: ü, ö, ä, ß).

My questions are?

How can i use the special german characters called "Umlaute"?

Is there a translation for the backend menu items too?
