This is great news. When I read the 1.1 statement yesterday, I was concerned about CB's ability to work in that environment. Now I'm not so concerned anymore.

Great news... glad to see the team working so closely with the Joomla team... and glad to see they recognize the importance of CB by inviting the two of you to join their S&G group...

News is Joomla 1.1 alpha 2 and mambo 4.5.3 support.

The mambo core dev team also contacted us lately to do their backwards compatibility tests of future mambo 4.6 with CB.

As I am rather new to cb, this release will not add new tables or change any tables in the db, right? basically, what I just got done building for my new site will stay in place after upgrade right?
Hopefully, but even if not, it sounds as though it would be worth rebuilding for the compatibility with new joomla...
I suppose I will hold off on having my site go live until the new release

ahh, I just re-read the article on the new release... its just a bug fixing release... so no worries
