This thread discusses the Content article: CB Team Plugins released for doc subscribers

I wanted some of this plugins badly and now they are available. Thank you again.

I would also like to give many thanks to two truly dedicated Joomlapolis members who did lots of testing behind the curtains for all these plugins released today, and helped us by off-loading us from forum support as you could notice in the forums, namely Rapunzl and Krileon: THANK YOU, your help is truly extremely highly appreciated by Joomlapolis members and by the core CB Team

Also many thanks to Nant for the new native Profile Gallery and module as well as for his help in all areas, allowing me to spend most of my time developing.

There are still many exciting new plugins and services which are being finalized, and even more which aren't even announced yet

We are also finally nearing release of the long awaited and in mean time very exciting paid subscriptions plugin, which is demonstrated in the third part of this video for those who want to see a preview presentation.

While the praise and recognition is being handed out, I want to thank both Beat and Nick for their unending days, attempting to release all of these plugins a couple months ago, working even during family vacations and into the wee hours of the morning almost every night to do it as soon as possible so all of us can benefit.

So many times, we thought plugins could be released that night, only to find another bug Beat and Nick would have to work out first.

It's difficult for everyone waiting to realize how many people and how many hours are put into each task the Team takes on:

• The Developers
• The Code Dabblers that provide small fixes or ideas in the forums
• The Various Project Testers
• The Website Administrators and IT Expert
• The Website Designer
• The Documenteration Publishers
• The Forum Moderators
• The Forum Frequenters with suggestions, wishlists and solutions
• The Documentation Subscribers

Disclaimer: This list is in no particular order, from the top of my head, late at night... so if I've forgotten any person or group of people, please forgive me.

The bottom line is, we all benefit from this wonderful piece of work and all its addons. Now we all just have to get ready for the next round of "When will it be released?!" posts.


Oh... and the next bunch of surprises Beat just mentioned.

Thanks for the new releases. However, after trying to install them most have issues being installed on Joomla 1.5.9 and CB 1.2 RC4.

I get failures when trying to install the plugins through cb community plugin backend. There are missing xml files in some of the modules, particularly cblatest and cbcontent.


Therefore I can not use them. Perhaps the next time around. (smile)

Yeah unfortunately I am having the same issue...I'm getting the old "Error! Could not find an XML setup file in the package." when i try to install the cbcontent module on Joomla 1.5.9 and CB 1.2.

Why are you still using RC4? There are fixes in the Stable Release that will probably solve your problems.
