The Lost Your Password? Form will only accept a Username of Max 25 characters.

My members use their email address as their USERNAME and can have longer usernames than 25 characters.

I have changed the username Max Length in Field Management but it does not seem to have any effect.

As you're reporting precisely and are doc subscriber (thank you) and fix is easy, here is the Quick-fix:

open comprofiler.html.php, search for:

maxlength="25"

and change that 25 to 255.
